Ashley Johnson, the actress that who plays in the MoCap sessions and the voice of Ellie, reveal that we will see "a face more joker of Ellie and know her a little better You'll see many different facets of the character that you didn't get to see on The Last of Us. It's a little more 'fun' because you have two teenage girls through a mall. It's like a post-pandemic version of two girls hanging out, but not a normal time. There is a bit of everything here. The environment is going to produce you new sensations to ou. You will be immersed in battles that are familiar to the original campaign, but there are also shades."
