Akihiro Hino of LEVEL-5 has talked about the game:
"It is an exceptional crossover between our series of Professor Layton and Ace Attorney series from Capcom. When we created our first Professor Layton game, in our minds the Ace Attorney series was great to beat. (...) Once launched the game I thought to myself how cool it would one day enter into partnership with the Ace Attorney series. And now that dream has come true!"
He also said that both from Capcom and from LEVEL-5 wanted to avoid making a single spin-off of the series, so merging the two series were raised, integrating them to create something cinematic quality.
"We have managed to overcome the two original series in terms of quality and quantity of content. We have done our best to take the best of each series.I hope you enjoy playing it!", Akihiro said.
The game will be available March, 28th, 2014 for 3DS in digital (Nintendo eShop) and physical format.
Also, there is a demo puzzle available in the official website of the game .

Akihiro Hino de LEVEL-5 ha hablado sobre el juego:
"Es un crossover excepcional entre nuestra serie de El profesor Layton y la serie Ace Attorney de Capcom. Cuando creamos nuestro primer juego de El profesor Layton, en nuestra mente la serie de Ace Attorney era el gran rival a batir. (…) Una vez lanzado el juego pensaba para mi lo genial que sería un día entablar una colaboración con la serie Ace Attorney. ¡Y ahora ese sueño se ha hecho realidad!"
También dijo que tanto desde Capcom como desde LEVEL-5 quisieron evitar hacer un simple spin-off de las serie, por lo que se plantearon fusionar ambas series, integrándolas, para crear algo con calidad cinematográfica.
"Hemos conseguido superar las dos series originales en términos de calidad y cantidad de contenido. Nos hemos esforzado al máximo para coger lo mejor de cada serie. ¡Espero que disfrutéis jugándolo!", dijo Akihiro.
El juego estará disponible el 28 de Abril para 3DS en formato digital (Nintendo eShop) y físico.
